Medina means “old town” and it is always a special, not to say a magic place to be!
First time being in Essaouira (also first time in Morocco) I felt like taking part in a huge live role-play from the middle ages. The Medina as an amazing stage with a labyrinth of small, dark alleys and an uncountable number of actors in traditional clothing running around everywhere.

I wasn’t scared at all by this scenery but it took me some days to get used to it and to make myself feel at home. This was so different to everything what I had seen before in my life.
