One of the amazing things in say in India were the elephants! Not only that I never got any closer to an elephant in my life before, but also they were richly decorated which looked extra fascinating! These five animals took part in a temple festival in Kanichukulangara, Kerala.
Of course there is a sad story behind the use of these wonderful creatures in India. Each month a number of deadly accidents are caused by elephants who go crazy. It is not easy maybe impossible to keep so huge animals in captivity.
